Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was removed from Friday night’s win over the Yankees after being inadvertently kneed in the head by Yankees shortstop George Lombard Jr. during a play at third base. Guerrero admitted to a slight headache and is now going through MLB’s concussion protocol, with the team considering him day-to-day. He had only recently returned to the lineup after recovering from a hamstring injury. (source: MLB.com)
