The New York Giants are releasing veteran wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, a corresponding roster move to the signing of running back Najee Harris, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Smith-Schuster signed with the Giants in early June but was listed as a fourth-string receiver on the depth chart and did not play in New York’s preseason opener. A 2017 second-round pick of the Steelers, he caught 33 passes for 345 yards and a touchdown with the Chiefs in 2025. The move reunites Harris with the Giants while sending his former Pittsburgh teammate back to free agency. (source: ESPN/Adam Schefter, NBC Sports/ProFootballTalk, Pro Football Rumors)
