The NFL has suspended Atlanta Falcons edge rusher James Pearce Jr. for the first eight games of the 2026 season for violating the league’s personal-conduct policy, stemming from a February arrest. Pearce, who led the Falcons with 10.5 sacks as a rookie, is eligible to return in Week 9 against the Bengals in Madrid. The suspension leaves a significant hole in Atlanta’s pass rush to start the season. (source: ESPN)
