DeMar DeRozan is heading to the Mile High City. The six-time All-Star agreed to a one-year, $3.9 million veteran minimum deal with the Nuggets, picking Denver over Miami, Washington and New Orleans for the chance to play a real role and compete in the West. Denver’s front office and coaching staff pitched him as an additional playmaker alongside Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, and the signing helps offset the loss of Peyton Watson in the multiteam trade with Cleveland.
