The 49ers receiver room takes another hit. Ricky Pearsall is headed for season-ending PCL surgery on his right knee and will miss all of 2026, with a recovery timeline in the six-to-twelve month range. The 2024 first-rounder had been managing the injury since Week 4 of last season and was shut down after just two training camp practices. San Francisco already responded by bringing back Deebo Samuel on a one-year deal worth up to $7 million. For DFS, that vacated target share is the story: Deebo and Jauan Jennings get a clearer runway, and George Kittle’s role in the middle of the field only gets bigger.
