Von Miller is going home. The eight-time Pro Bowler and two-time Super Bowl champion agreed to a one-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys worth $5.5 million that can top out at $7.5 million. Miller, a DeSoto, Texas native who starred at DeSoto High School and Texas A&M before Denver drafted him second overall in 2011, is entering his 15th NFL season with 138.5 career sacks. He finished 2025 with nine sacks, his most since 2021, and called the move “a dream within a dream.” The signing gives Dallas a proven edge presence and brings Miller to the NFC East rival of his former team in Washington. For DFS purposes, the Cowboys front just got meaner — opposing quarterbacks facing this pass rush carry added sack and turnover risk, so think twice before paying up for a passer against Dallas.
