The NFL has suspended Atlanta Falcons edge rusher James Pearce Jr. for the first eight games of the 2026 season for violating the league’s personal-conduct policy. The suspension stems from a February arrest near Miami on charges including aggravated battery and resisting arrest; Pearce entered a pretrial intervention program in April. He did not appeal and is eligible to return Nov. 2, dealing a significant blow to Atlanta’s pass rush and fantasy value to start the season. (source: ESPN)
